Re-check & Re-evaluation

Considering the need to maintain transparency in examination, the University has a provision of re-checking and re-totalling of semester-end examination answer scripts.

Division Equivalence

Students securing CGPA in between 2.5 and 3.00 will be considered as second division and students securing more then 3.00 CGPA will be considered first division.

Degree with Distinction

Students securing CGPA 3.60 and above shall be deemed to have achieved distinction grades.

Dean's List

Students securing CGPA 3.70 and above qualify for the Dean's list.

Transfer of Credits

Pokhara University students are permitted for a transfer of credits earned in an equivalent institution with grades not lower then "B" up to a maximum of 15 credits hours. However, credits earned more then five years ago many not not be accepted for the transfer of credits. But, transfer of credit out of Pokhara University depends upon the policies of institutions accepting such credit transfers. Many of our students have received transfer of all passing grades.

Industry Visits

Nobel College organizes industry visits for the students once a year. The cost of such visits shall be borne by the students themselves and the College may provide the transportation facility and facilitate such visits. On these visits, the students are taken to the industries and well known commercial establishments, and will be allowed to see for themselves how basic theories learned by them are used to address the practical problems in industry.
