BNS Program in Nepal

The Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (BNS) is a three-year program affiliated with Pokhara University and accredited by the Nepal Nursing Council. This program is designed to produce professional nurses with specialized expertise in Oncology, Gerontology, and Psychiatric Nursing. The BNS curriculum is focused on developing nursing professionals capable of providing high-quality care and assuming leadership roles in various healthcare settings.

Objectives of the BNS Program in Nepal

1. Comprehensive Nursing Knowledge

  • Equip students with sound scientific knowledge and a deep understanding of nursing practices, ensuring they are well-prepared for professional responsibilities.

2. National and International Nursing Insight

  • Familiarize students with both national and international nursing organizations and institutions, enabling them to adapt to global standards and practices in the healthcare field.

  • Develop critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, preparing graduates to make independent decisions in complex healthcare environments.
